1. Overview
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our cleaning services and website. By placing a booking, you agree to these terms in full. References to "we," "us," or "the Company" refer to YALETOWN CLEANING SERVICES INC.. References to "you" or "the client" refer to the individual or entity making a booking.
2. Booking & Confirmation
All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once you receive a written confirmation via email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking at our discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued promptly.
Bookings can be made online via our booking form or by contacting us directly.
You are responsible for providing accurate property details, access information, and any special instructions at the time of booking.
We will make reasonable efforts to assign the same cleaner for recurring bookings, though this cannot be guaranteed.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
48+ hours notice: No charge. Full refund or free reschedule.
24–48 hours notice: No charge for first cancellation; subsequent late cancellations may incur a 25% fee.
Less than 24 hours notice: A cancellation fee of 50% of the booking value applies.
No-show or locked-out cleaner: If our team cannot access the property and is not notified within 30 minutes of arrival, the full booking fee applies.
Recurring bookings can be paused at any time with 48 hours notice. To cancel a recurring plan entirely, 7 days notice is required.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due at time of booking or upon completion of service, as indicated during checkout.
We accept major credit and debit cards. All transactions are processed securely via an encrypted payment gateway.
Prices are quoted in local currency and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
For recurring bookings, your card on file will be charged automatically after each completed service.
Any disputed charges must be raised within 7 days of the transaction date.
5. Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of your clean, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion. We will arrange a complimentary re-clean of the areas in question at no charge. This guarantee applies to standard service areas and does not cover pre-existing damage, issues outside the scope of the booked service, or conditions reported more than 24 hours after the clean.
6. Access to Property
You must ensure safe, lawful access to the property at the agreed time.
If access is via key or lockbox, you take responsibility for sharing access codes securely.
Our staff will not enter a property if they feel unsafe, if hazardous conditions are present, or if they are denied entry.
You warrant that you have the legal right to grant access to the property for cleaning purposes.
7. Liability
We carry full public liability insurance. In the event of damage caused directly by our team, please report it within 24 hours with photographic evidence.
We are not liable for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, improper installation, or fragile items not disclosed at time of booking.
We are not liable for items of high monetary or sentimental value left unsecured. We recommend storing valuables safely prior to any clean.
Our total liability in any circumstance is limited to the value of the booking in question.
8. Health & Safety
Please inform us of any hazards, pets, or health conditions relevant to our team's safety prior to the clean.
Our team may decline to clean areas deemed unsafe or unsanitary beyond normal household conditions (e.g. biohazardous material, extreme mold, infestation).
All cleaning products used are professional-grade. Eco-friendly alternatives are available on request.
9. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
